From the Director's Desk One major result of the process of liberalization and deregulation has been a
considerable intensification of competition in the Indian industry. With the realization
of the changes in the competitive environment, firms are now experimenting with a
diversity of strategic approaches. The mantra of core competence seems to have taken
strong roots in the Indian corporate world. One of the main aspects of core competence is
people. It is said "If you want to plan for a year, plant corn. If you want to plan
for three years, plant a fruit tree. But if you want to plan for ten years, plan
people." We, at Neville Wadia Institute of Management Studies and Research develop
processed seeds or seedlings of human assets, which can be planted in your esteemed
organization to reap rich harvest in terms of skilled, trained and competent manpower in
the 21st Century. |
